our vineyards

The island of Susak serves particularly well for wine making due to its unique and rich soil composition, gentle slopes and ideal climate. Moreover, the island is suitable for the making of organic wines as its isolation from the main land minimises the risk of grape diseases and the local rushes protect the vineyards from strong winds.

Sansego is the traditional Italian name of the island, which was widely used until recent years and we decided to adopt it when naming our locally produced wines. Our portfolio includes two blends from white grapes and two from red grapes.
